About Me

I have been obsessed with the human body and all of its abilities for as long as I can remember. I enjoy teaching and learning all forms of movement and athletic skill, and I have a unique approach to training, stemming from a belief that physical strength and mental strength are fundamentally connected.

I have considerable experience as an exercise therapist, leading clients through the rehabilitative process using clinically proven exercises and techniques to facilitate a rapid and successful recovery. I’m constantly exploring new research about the capabilities of the human body with regard to movement, development, recovery and performance. Working with athletes of all ages and abilities is my passion, and I believe that building a strong rapport is vital to the success of any team, which is why trust and communication are emphasized along with form and technique in all aspects of my training.

I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Sports Science and a Minor in Sports Psychology. I was the captain of my collegiate Ultimate Frisbee team, where I led the team to the national tournament. As a high school athlete, I was a First Team All-District selection in football. I also have experience working with young athletes and cultivating the skills needed to excel in their chosen sport, as well as professional athletes preparing for the world’s biggest stage. I have a USAW Sports performance Coach Level 1 Certification and a Level 1 CrossFit certification.

My passion for fitness and health is evidenced in my own life as well the dedication I show my athletes; I have personally lost over 60 pounds and am still committed to an active, healthy and natural lifestyle. In my free time I enjoys being outdoors with my dog, Cooper, as well as hiking, biking, playing volleyball, participating in fitness competitions, and experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes and foods.
